FEEL GOOD FLY YOGA

J.A.D.E. (Joyful Alignment & Divine Energy)

This is one of the easiest, most exciting exercises for your health…immediate results for strengthening your nervous, glandular, lymphatic, cardiovascular systems.    

I am continually amazed at the results with little time taken out of my schedule. 

Kundalini yoga is known as the “Everyday Yoga”; meaning it is for us with jobs and families to raise (classical yoga was originally designed for yogis dedicated to its focus). 

The breathing alone is fun and awakening.  We sometimes incorporate drumming or singing bowls! 

                                                          
   one-on-one, client -centered session: combines meditation,breathwork, assisted and supported yoga postures and compassionate dialogue.This non-prescriptive approach allows clients to explore sensations and emotions through their bodies in a non-judgmental setting. Clients often gain greater mental and emotional clarity around significant life issues, release tension in their bodies and gain a sense of  physical, emotional and spiritual well being. No prior yoga experience is necessary.

Private instruction is for all levels.  It is wonderful to have many avenues to live your yoga life...solitary, group and individual instruction. We will also help you create kriyas (exercises/tools) for your home practice.


Learning to control the body steers us toward learning to control our mind.  Then we can redirect our emotions to keep our body/mind healthy.  Kundalini yoga (glandular yoga!) is great fun and you might find yourself laughing.  I continue to be amazed how seemingly simple exercise can immediately transform one's whole demeanor...in fact, one's life.


Luckily in this time and space there are so many, many wonderful sources to learn about yoga....so many books and teachers have inspired me.  I recommend KRI website, The Complete Illustrated Book of Yoga by Swami Vishnudevananda, Beyond the Power of Yoga by Beryl Bender Birch and Jivamukti by Sharon Gannon and David Life.


 Guidelines:

* Please wear comfortable, natural fiber clothing you can   move around in. Prepare to be barefoot.

* Please refrain from eating 2-3 hours before practice....if you need to, try something light, like a piece of fruit.

* Please refrain from the influence of drugs or alcohol.

* Please do not aggravate an existing injury.  We will look for a modification or focus on the mental image.  Use commonsense.

And remember, as you cultivate healthy disciplines in your life, you're bound to meet resistance (as your old habits try to assert themselves).  As Yogi Bhajan said, "Keep Up"...this is where the pay off comes!
